Code Name Girl With A Stick

As I signed on the PSN, I came across one of my friends playing Girl With A Stick. I shot him a message asking what Girl With A Stick was. His reply was the Resistance 2 Closed Beta, here at the TalkPlayStation.com team we investigated further and found out what he said was true. We found it pretty clever that the Resistance 2 beta was code named Girl With A Stick.

I don’t get it. Then again I never played the first Resistance game (apart from the demo). Can you explain why this code name is clever?

Yeah me too lol.
Basically, the XMB-title of the beta is a silent innuendo to the first title that Insomniac started developing for the PS2 – which was actually about a girl with a stick… however, afaik they never finished but moved over to Ratchet & Clank
