The answer is yes. Since the release of Metal Gear Solid 4 and the Trophy system, alot of fans have requested that MGS4 gets patched to support trophies. We think this will add replay value to the game, i certainly would go through MGS4 again.
Brandon Laurino of Konami Online has recently made a post on the PSblog about the new SCENE Expansion. In the comments section he mentions Trophies.

First, to clear up some discussion about the PS Wallet / Store – SCENE will be available to purchase using your PS Wallet (the funds you have on PSN), but will not be available for purchase / download through the PS Store. So, basically, it’s another payment option (along with PayPal) available through the in-game / MGO store. Hopefully, this will help those of you who have had issues with payment in the past, and generally make it easier to get this content. On the subject of MGS4/MGO trophies and Konami ID – we hear you.
