PlayStation Universe got their hands on some new screenshots and videos on the game. So this is going to be a 3 part article. We’re first going to start off with the Resistance 2 Campaign Screenshots.

A user named Shuyu from FFXIII.net has some scans of the article. The article is an interview with compilation developers Yoshinori Kitase, and Shinji Hashimoto. 

The PlayStation 3 release hasn’t been affected by a port to the Xbox 360. The scenario for the game is complete, and the artsy side is about 80% complete. 

In the interview they reassure Playstation 3 owners that their version of Final Fantasy XIII hasn’t been delayed at all and that the Xbox 360 version won’t even be started until the PS3 release is burned to Blu-ray. As well as that, Kitase has given an update on the progress of development stating that the Scenario for Final Fantasy XIII is complete and the Artistic Side is 80% complete. The game has finally gone golden, and will be releasing in North America and Latin America on the 21st of October. Europe will come out during the same week. 

You’ll also want to get the game week one of release because Media Molecule has two sackboy skins to download for free during week one.

Project Origin the standalone name for Monolith’s sequel for F.E.A.R. Monolith Productions Inc. and WB Games have purchased the F.E.A.R name from Activision-Blizzard so they now own rights to the name and can use it for the sequel. The game is now called F.E.A.R 2: Project Origin.

I enjoy seeing people’s creations. It will be great to see what people will do in Little Big Planet. But what struck me was how somebody was able to get the exact look of Old Snake from Metal Gear Solid 4. Not only is the face and mullet the same, but even the shirt and pants he wore. Here’s a picture I took with my phone of Old Snake. Sorry I couldn’t get the whole figure, other people would’ve got in the way of the camera system. He even does the salute.

Yakuza 3 is the third installment in the video game series and was revealed in the July 2008 issue of Famitsu. The third game will be a spin-off and will continue the adventures of Kiryu Kazuma.

The game is set to be released in Spring 2009 and is exclusive to the Playstation 3.

If you havent played the FIFA 09 demo yet we suggest you do so. It may take some time to get used to the new version as it plays slightly different. The graphics have certainly improved and you’ll see by taking a look at the following HD screenshots.

Need for Speed: Undercover is the twelfth yes twelfth installment in the Need for Speed franchise. The game is developed by EA Black Box and Published by Electronic Arts. The game is scheduled to be released on the 18th of November 2008.

Stormrise is an upcoming game developed by Creative Assembly and Sega. Stormeise is a post-apocalyptic real-time strategy from the creators of Total War. You’ll have the ability to control units in the air, on the surface and underground. The game is set to be released sometime in 2009.

Have you seen the movie Wanted? If not see it because it’s awesome. There will be a video game based on the movie. The video game aspect of Wanted will be developed by GRIN and published by Universal Studios. The game picks up at the end of the movie.

Killzone 2 to is set to make an impact for the Playstation 3 in February of  2009 when the game is released. The graphics in Killzone 2 look breathtaking and people doubted the developers saying they couldn’t achieve the level of detail seen in the first trailers at E32k5.

We’ve been posting Operation Flashpoint 2 images in the past but they aren’t exactly in-game shots, they are more of a artwork showcase.

Below are actual in-game screenshots of the game and it looks fantastic. Whether it will look like this on consoles is beyond us. Far Cry 2 looks brilliant on consoles so i don’t see why Flashpoint 2 shouldn’t.
