It almost sounds like the prices people are used to on the iTunes store, only this time for the PlayStation. PocketGamer is claiming “PSPgo games will be as cheap as iPhone games”.

With the rumours increasing by the hour for Gamescom, this low pricing structure for games also means Sony will have relaxed its business model to enable small development studios to get involved with PSP.

For the PSP Go! that is. The app is named Sensme. There is hardly any info out about this so we’ll ahve to wait a little bit longer.

Kotaku let know that website Gamekyo is claiming Konami is planning to dropping the Konami ID’s. The ID’s have been more annoying the past 2 years as players who wanted to play PES and Metal Gear Online needed to register. The process it self was a whole adventure as well if you tried to register during the Metal Gear Online Beta period.
So in the end you had three accounts, you console Game ID, Konami’s ID and a Konami Game ID (for each specific game)

That cries for changing this might have finally been heard.

It appears that SOCOM 4 could be in development because according to PCB Production’s credits page, PCB Productions has worked on a number of games in the past, has been working on some motion capture for SOCOM 4. So what makes this rumour a true one, well they wouldn’t add it to the credit page otherwise.

Let’s hope it’s better than SOCOM: Confrontation which is/was rigged with alot of bugs.

The rumor has been hanging around for quite some time that there is a PS3 Slim on the way. Now those rumors are getting worse as UDN.com has claimed that two Taiwanese manufacturing companies have been awarded contracts to make the new unit. The order has been split up in half with Taiwanese group Foxconn and Pegatron getting one slice each.

Why this rumor has a change of sticking, you ask? These two firms have manufactured the original PS3. So if this is true, Ars Technica might be right as well that the units will hit the market in August or September. Or we can just hope for the best

PS3Hype.nl has told their readers that dutch retailers like Game Mania, Bart Smit and Media Markt aren’t planning on selling the PSP Go. The reason is that stores make a marginal profit on hardware, and ‘major’ profits on software/games. And with the internal hard drive of 16GB and no UMD slot, makes selling the PSP Go not very interesting for them as it will bring them them minimal profits.

PS3Hype.nl believes that the one way for PlayStation to counter this would be to introduce the PSN cards in Europe since many people in The Netherlands don’t have a credit card or simply refuse to get one because of the security issues.

As the Kojima teaser site ”NEXT” got a new countdown showing  e, 3, E, R, P, 5,Raiden and Big Boss faces and the countdown ends when E3 start. I think that the game their going to show at E3 is Metal Gear Solid 5 from all the clues that we got. This time there going to be Raiden that you will be playing as the main character and i think that final boss is going to big boss. E3 starts (for Sony Only) Tuesday,June,2 at 11 am.

Battlefield Heroes could be making it’s way to the Playstation 3 after GOONL!NE revealed this information. The game is listed on EA’s press site and it currently waiting to get rated by the ESRB.

The game is scheduled to be released at some point in June of 2009.

Rumors has been flying around Kojima Productions About the DLC that coming out. First Rumor was Raiden is playable to control in two chapters that will be new and the rumors that was Flying around for a long time is Trophies For MGS4.

CHARACTER AND CHARACTER ANIMATION ISSUES

High concept: We need the game to have more personality and feel like an action… our human characters are a big way we are going to get that vibe. I would like to see the following… the milestone and feel it would go a long way to wowing the crowds.

#1 – … animation of capturing him, running over him and dragging him behind your car…
#2 – …gives him personality- right now it’s so dry- needs to feel  action.
a- When he is knocked out of a car and onto the ground he crawls frantically, looking… approaching cars, trying to get away, slipping as he tries to get up.

A new sony motion sensing may be reveiled at E3 by this picture:

Sony is set to officially unveil this new device at E3, which is already the venue for some rumored new Sony hardware! How exciting! To be honest, the new device could still be shaped like a regular controller, but include pointing.

A good source saw a working prototype several months ago that largely fit what was in the patent. Sony’s controller apparently used LEDs (light emitting diodes, essentially little electric light sources) and a small webcam to track the device’s movements. Because the camera can read different color lights and the shape and angle of each light, it’s much more accurate than the Wii-mote. It can track precise movements, including along the Z axis (pushing toward and away from the TV; something the Wii is really bad at) as well as velocity.

Infinity Ward decided to drop the Call of Duty name out for their Modern Warefare 2 title, so is it a Call of Duty game? Anyway, what about some rumours?

• All the weapons from the original are coming again.
• 3 maps from the original are coming back with a few noticeable tweaks here & there.
• There is a total of 16 maps including 3 from the original.
• 20 new weapons will be added to the inventory & the most noticeable are the FAMAS assault rifle, HK PSG-1 sniper rifle, MP7 sub machine gun, AA12 fully automatic shotgun, MG4 LMG and the .44 magnum revolver.
• Multiple attachment perk has been added which allows 2 attachments to be added to a weapon.
• The Single Player Campaign is predicted to last 7+ hours.
• Co-op Mode has been added.
• A new Alien Terrorist co-op mode is also added with details still unknown.
• The multiplayer is set to have 4 new modes above the original modes.
• A new CLAN system & TOURNAMENT system will be added.
• The PS version of the game is set to have Dedicated severs provided from SONY [Xbox Servers status still unknown].

According to Sony Ireland, Firmware 2.7 will be released on the 2nd of April 2009. Here’s what Sony have to say on the matter:-

With mounting speculation as to exactly when PS3 firmware version 2.70 will be released we can now reveal to you that our sources at Sony Ireland have given us a confirmation date.

April 2nd Will be the date that every Ps3 gamer will now be looking forward to.
