Sony Q2 PlayStation 3 sales up 86% yr/yr
Sony has confirmed that they have sold 2.43 million Playstation 3 units from July up to September 2008. This is up 86% from last years 1.31 million units.

Bigger install base on 360, but PS3 is selling more games
This is great news and is something game developers should take into consideration. The Xbox 360 currently has a bigger install base than the Playstation 3, but that doesnt mean the 360 will see more games, it’s the other way round.
