No price cut this year for PS3 says Sony

Premium Themes in the Playstation Store
Sony has announced that they will be releasing premium themes in the Playstation Store. They have linked up with Smobile & Disruptive Media Publishers, to distribute premium themes from PlayStation Network.

A member of the Playstation Underground has apparently received an email to let them know they’ve been accepted into the Killzone 2 beta. Here’s a screenshot.

Some character names revealed for FFXIII and FF Versus XIII
The Tokyo Game Show 2008 is underway and information has been revealed regarding the characters in Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy Versus XIII. Not a great deal, just some names.

Lightning might be voiced by Akeno Watanabe. Nomchan seems to have a name, it’s Sarah or Senon.

Fifa 09 produces record breaking sales
Fifa 09 has broke records with a successful first week of sales. The newest Fifa game outsold last year’s game by around 37.5%, this set new records. 42% of the sales were on the Xbox 360, 40% on the Playstation 3, 11% on the Playstation 2 and the remaining were shared by other platforms.
