Capcom have announced that they have shipped 2 million copies of Street Fighter IV worldwide. Capcom had high expectation for the fighting game and it was the attempt to bring the series back alive. When the game was released in Japan the game sold out in every store.
Street Fighter IV sold more on the Playstation 3 than the Xbox 360 in the first week. 86,075 for the PS3 version and 37,782 for the 360 version.
