BioShock’s visuals better on PS3 afterall?
We mentioned earlier that the BioShock visuals on the Playstation 3 are to be on par of those seen on the Xbox 360. Not anymore. Dave Wales, a contributer over at PSU has had some hands on with BioShock at E3.
Wales said:
“One of the very first things you’ll notice within BioShock [PS3] is that all anti-aliasing issues are now gone. There were absolutely no edging issues or jaggedness to any portions of what was displayed on screen,”
“I almost felt like I was staring at a redesigned title.”
So its not all bad news for PS3 owners as we won’t have annoying AA problems.

First, don’t be a douche, second PSU is a website not a magazine, third the guys over at PSU will be biased but they aren’t liars. If they say it’s better, it is because they have likely played the 360 version. Just because it’s a Playstation focused site doesn’t mean they don’t play the competitions games
wow makidan…. your a freaking idiot.. even if they have played the 360 version they are still going to partial to ps3 version because of the fanboy attitude… it amazes me how people are so freaking stupid these days….
link, before you insult someones intellegence you should probably spell correctly. Infact, YOU’RE stupid. I’ve played the 360 and that version looks superb in its own right. It’s great PS3 owners will be able to play a more refined game.
Makidian has a very good point. A person can work at a company and still like the rivals product. I own a PS3, but I still like Gears of War more than Resistance (by a slim margin). It has been stated over and over by the DEVELOPER 2K, that the PS3 version WILL get a slight (at the least) visual upgrade.
Just because you are biased doesn’t mean you are a liar. Being bias means you have tastes opposing another…. they have a name for lying… its called lying. You probably do not understand the word bias. Besides calling people names and calling people fanboys without being provoked or having proof shows your (see I used ‘your’ correctly look and learn link) lack of maturity.
And lets get a little truth going on this article. The PS3 is a superior machine. That’s not to say the 360 is crap or even just goood, because the Xbox 360 is a powerful system in its own right.
The one think Microsoft understood is they need to get their system out there first and drop support for original Xbox owners forcing a massive migration to their new platform, Xbox 360. With a year head start and forcing previous owners to move to the 360 only after 4 yrs of existance helped create a bigger install base. This large number of new 360 adopters (along with dev friendly dev-kits) attracted developers, this leads to more focus on development for the 360 first then porting to the PS3.
When you look at the progress made by developers who develop solely for the PS3, you can see a superior or equal quality in graphics. It doesn’t make sense the a football game can only run 30 fps and then you have something like Killzone 2 and MGS4 running on the same machine.
Microsoft has always been about manipulation, not quality. (see Windows)

Right so thats a comment from a journalist at a playstation magazine and is to be taken over a comment from the actual developer.
Unbiased i’m sure.
