Bioshock will most likely come to PS3
So there are rumors saying it will come and rumors saying it won’t come. The Bitbag says they e-mailed 2k regarding Bioshock on the Playstation 3 and got this reply:
“2K has not made any announcements regarding a PS3 version, which makes
it a rumor and it is company policy to not comment on rumors. Please
note that we have you coded to receive all press releases, so when any
significant company news breaks, you’ll be on the front lines of
receiving an official notification.”
So where in that e-mail does it say “Bioshock is not coming to PS3″? All the e-mail states is that 2k have not announced it for the PS3….. YET.
I mean if you look at the previous rumors…
What about the code that was found in the Bioshock PC demo’s config.ini?

As you can see “PS3″ is listed after the comma. They denied it by saying the code is very early, but just goes to show it was in fact being coded on/for PS3, but was haulted due to a contract/deal with MS for it to be exclusive.
Ok moving on, what about the EGM rumor saying that Bioshock will come to PS3 as early as this September. Take a look at this article.
I can see why the Xbox fans don’t like this rumor and would probably cry if these rumors are true and besides more games are moving from the Xbox 360 to the PS3. Mass Effect 2 anyone?
Also Bioshock 2 is apparently coming to the PS3 so it would make sense to release the first Bioshock on PS3. Not only that but 2k are recruiting for “AAA” game developers for the PS3 and the only AAA game that is in development is Bioshock 2.

There is enough evidence and news to say that Bioshock will indeed come to the Sony Playstation 3.

lol your thing does not make any sense. Stop spreading rumors, I mean seriously… They might need an AAA develepor for almost anything. And it says PS3 360 and Wii… Almost all game company are hiring.

The code gives it away, MS prob had a year long exclusive deal with the game…..Bioshock 2 is coming as he said, Mass Effect 1 and 2 are prob coming from what I have heard….and even Gears of War 3 might be coming as well b/c MS has a 2 game exclusive deal with Epic….But what ever I really dont care for any of these games….If we get them, we get them. If not, then no big deal

If the company doesn’t officially announce it, then its not true YET.

whatever you say…you are right about ff13 not coming to the 360…but we know that bioshock 2 is coming to the ps3 and it wouldnt be too much logical to have bioshock 2 on ps3 without bioshock 1..because as i guess there will be for sure some connectivity between sequel and original game…but hey, this biggest and best game for the 360, so there is always place for rumours like this about bioshock…and as i said earlier for me it is one of the games that makes the 360..for me and many more people game, that would make people to buy xbox360 and recently i was realy thinking about that..but if bioshock comes on the ps3, then is xbox for me wasted desert with med games
Well I am a Xbox 360 lover and I’m glad these games are coming over to the PS3. Games like Mass effect and Bioshock need to be multi platform games. They are just too good to be on only one system. I hope these rumors are true so you guys can see what 360 fans have been enjoying for a while now
I’m actually lost as to how Bioshock 1 or 2 and even Mass Effect coming to the PS3 would (if true) bother anyone owning a 360. I own both consoles and seriously i don’t have any problem with any game being released on either console. Only people it seems to bother are those who continue to clutch at straws when coming to conclusions like you have with the opening post. If it comes to the PS3 then so be it, if it doesnt then im sure 99.9% of PS3 owners will be more or less content playing with the excellent selection of games currently out or planned for future release.
2k have already smashed this rumour… Bioshock aint coming to the PS3, so stop it already, they even had a statement yesterday, its not coming on the PS3, stop falsley raising hopes for PS3 owners just for hits…
Look it’s neither confimed nor denied, and usually when a company doesn’t FLAT OUT deny that something is happening it generally means they aren’t ready to make an announcement. This is an example, so is the 360 Newton, so is DLC for the PS3 version of GTA4. It would not be in Take2’s best interest to leave games exclusive if they want to stay profitable and fend off EA, but you can bet your ass that if EA takes over, this game will most definitely be announced for the PS3.

The ps3 does not suck. The playstation network sucks really bad (having to leave a game to accept a text message, if u wanna do voice chat u have to stay in one window and not do anything else, the ps3 arcade games are horrendeous, etc.. i can go on and on…). If i could take Xbox Live and put it in the PS3, then i’d play the ps3 all the time. Xbox Live is an excellent service that makes up for all the shortfalls and issues that the xbox360 has. Therefore, the 360 is way better then the ps3.

PS3 cant run Bioshock. PS3 couldn’t even run GTA in hi def instead its 640p while 360 is true 720p and Haze is only 576p. Sorry sony fanboys but your inferior machine will never see Bioshock or Mass Effect. Besides cant run Unreal 3 ehgine without degraded textures and horrible frame rates. Silly sony fanboys.

Seriously Mass Effect IS NOT going onto any other platform that isn’t a 360 or a Windows run PC. It’s still a Microsoft IP, it’s not something that can hop over to any other console “just because”.

Yeah bitch, PS3 rules and the only good game i was going to buy xbox360 for, was bioshock, and now we got it..muhehe..oh, wait..no u have still one good game..Gears of war, but thats it xbots….i just hate xbox because of its fans still saying how ps3 crappy is..and this will finaly shut you up.
