500 different endings for Fallout 3?
In Bethesda’s upcoming RPG, Fallout 3, there is to be 500 different variations to end the game. Speaking with TotalVideoGames.com, Pete Hines speak about Fallout 3. The game is to last around 20-100 hours depending on what you do, but 500 endings?
TVG: Err… no, just end states, as in the final scenes. Is there a good and an evil ending, for example?
Oh, no, it’s a whole mix. I mean the number of variations is over 500, but that’s of all the different permutations you can have of each different variable and what you did at each point. I don’t know how many of those there are (I haven’t gone back to look), but it takes into account any number of things you’ve done from early in the game, right up to when the game ends - it takes into account all of that stuff.
Looks like Fallout 3 will have plenty of replay value.

I’m playing FALLOUT [1st timer] I’m just amazed of how much fun is it, the turn based gameplay its quickly forgotten whit the nonstop violence and gore its like Bioshock meets Diablo but in this really the choices are infinite, you can choose to follow the story, killing everyone on sight or do the story and kill everyone after every chapter, buy goddies or become a merchant murderer bastard on the road an a hero in the cities, and the game will change the NPC’s and trigger another story. The flow of information the game gives you although overwhelming at first its quite useful and easy to handle, really feels like D&D with sneak attacks, action points, animal companion, tons of skills with a fallout boy ilustration [ lol ] really the gameplay its already awesome, but don’t let the FPV fool you this isn’t a shooter, to put it in other words, you are gonna do a lot of “math” before emptying the clip… the view its just a bonus but I hope that they also put like 5000 camera angles.
