360 games that could come to PS3
This post is a prediction, speculation, rumor type one so if you have any please comment and let me know what your opinions are.
This is an article looking at the possibilities of other 360 ‘exclusive’ games coming to the PS3 after the BioShock incident.
Lets talk about what 360 games are possible to make their way to the Playstation 3. Afterall everyone said that BioShock will never ever be on the PS3 but look what happened! BioShock was a 360 exclusive and its making its way to the PS3 and will be released in October with enhanced visuals and content included. What other 360 ‘exclusive games’ could make the same move?
Mass Effect
Electronic Arts aren’t really known for making games exclusive so i think it’s likely that PS3 will see Mass Effect 2. It’s like it is their policy to release games multiplatform. Remember Electronic Arts now have control of the Mass Effect series.
Ninja Gaiden 2
Ninja Gaiden Sigma was released on the Playstation 3 exclusively but what makes Team Ninja not doing a port later on in the future? Itagaki said:
“We’ve announced it as an Xbox 360 exclusive, but I don’t own Tecmo the company.”
Infinite Undiscovery
360 is doing so bad in Japan and this is a Japanese RPG. It would make sense for Square Enix to release it on Playstation 3 is the 360 version does bad. Some of you might say that Microsoft is publishing this game but not fully, Square Enix is a publisher too.
Dead Rising
So the 360 got Devil May Cry from us, we can take Dead Rising from them. Prediction is that it will eventually get ported over to the PS3. Many people said that Lost Planet made up for the Devil May Cry loss but others think not. Could Dead Rising make up for the loss?
Tales of Vesperia
If you take a look at this post you will see that this game was listed for the Playstation 3 too. It turned out to be a mistake but they might be considering or it could be decided it will be coming out for the PS3 but don’t want the world to know.
Gears of War
Hmmm a lot of people are doubting this one. We will just have to see what happens in the future, anything can happen.
Ace Combat 6
Released as a 360 exclusive but will make its way to the Playstation 3 due to it being a ‘timed’ exclusive.
Left 4 Dead
Currently being released on both 360 and PC but the developers have stated in the past that a PS3 version is possible. Electronic Arts might port the game but lets hope they do a better job than they did with The Orange Box.

Hey guys. I just wanted to let you guys know that Microsoft owns the Infinite Undiscovery trademark. I doubt we’ll see it get a PS3 port at that.
Ninja Gaiden Sigma was released on the Playstation 3 exclusively.
yeah but being as this is just a port of an XBOX1 game it doesnt count. OK, maybe its a hell of a lot more than ‘just a port’, but it is the same game at heart

what loss exactly? what exactly did you lose? it came out day and date with the xbox 360 version didnt it? It is more or less exactly the same game? The only thing you seem to have lost is bragging rights.
But all ports sucks… the point is that the games uses the Blu ray capacity cause all the 360 games are dvd’s and the Gears of Wars 3 need a bluray, it will be foolish if microsoft doesn’t upgrade his shitty dvd-drive in to a powerful bluray, it will look ridiculius (like the HDDVD) and a lot of money I guess, the bluray drive for a mac cost nearly a ps3 imagine the cost of the external hardware for the 360, I’m gonna enjoy their faces when they fool pay the price of another 360 just for the Bluraydirve jajajaja SUCK ON THIS CRACKHEADS XBOXERS….
The Bioshock incident? Bioshock is coming out almost a year after it came out on 360, I hardly would call that a major victory for the PS3. If popular game came out for PS3 while it was still relevant, then you might have something.
Great list of games. Just so you know, the Tales of Vesperia is actually gonna release for the PS3, but not til after the Xbox 360 version is released. Microsoft has a timed exclusive, not to mention that namco bandai wants to dedicate time to both versions without any issues. In regards to Mass Effect 2, EA would be smart to release it on the PS3 as well, or at least give us part 1, which will help them increase sales. The XBox 360 version is pretty solid, just slap the content on a Blu-Ray disc, add the downloadable content and a few extra, sell the game for $39.99. The title would become an instant hit, which is all profit for EA.
You say its a year later for ps3 to get these games. Realise that the ps3 came out a year later and. MS dosent hold the ground they think they do. If there porting big ms tittles for the ps3. It only shows that ms isn’t doing as great as they thought. No matter what you say they lost there exclusives on those tittles. And with some games coming with even more than the 360 version. It only proves more ms don’t hold as much ground as they think they do.
Gears of war will never be on the ps3. Epic and cliffy b have clearly stated that the gears franchise will never cover a platform other than the 360 and the pc. So I guess you playstation owners will have to deal with over-hyped games such as Lair and Haze ” The halo killer “

Iam pretty sure that both Dead rising and Mass effect will end up on the ps3 system. But other games like Ninja gaiden 2 or Gears of wars I doubt will

Ray Misuka has already stated that Mass isn´t coming to ps3 and that they’re very confortable with working in EA because EA gave them the freedom that many producers don’t get.

People are so retarded. Whatever gets published by MGS is owned by MGS. Even Mark Rein of Epic stated that MS owns the IP to Gears so if they want to have it go multiplatform, they can. Anything could happen in time but if Mass Effect and Gears became multi, then MS could be in trouble, and with Itagaki leaving Tecmo, even NG2 is a possibility.
Microsoft owns he Gears IP - it ain’t coming… Microsoft also PUBLISHED Ninja Gaiden 2 - so it would be a difficult transaction…. the rest? WHo knows - but the limited memory pool of the PS3 has proven that ports aren’t a great idea…
the most possible ones:
-Ninja Gaiden 2 (since ITAGAKI has resigned and the president of TECMO always wants “more money”)
-Ace Combat 3 (since it’s only timed-exclusive)
the most impossible ones:
-Gears of War 3 (the trilogy has been confirmed to be Xbox360 exclusive from the start)
-Infinite Undiscovery (this will be the “real” first debut of SE on Xbox360, and SE has been very busy with Long-Homework-FFXIII series)

As for X360 exclusives coming out on PS3, i wouldn’t be in the slightest bit interested in them because- as you say- the X360 is inferior to the PS3. Why would you want to play inferior games on a superior machine?
Firmware and adaptability is where the console war will be won. And thats where the PS3 is streets ahead of the X360. My advice to you nick is “do some research and have a point or decent back-up to any argument you may have!”

I would love to see Gears of War 1 and 2 come to the PS3. The first one was a great game (played it all at my friends house) and I am tracking the second on gametrailers.com. They would be awesome additions, especially with how good the PS3 has made the online community. AND with the addition of firmware 2.4 coming out soon, it will be like playing the game on the Xbox 360. I would GLADLY drop 50$ or 60$ to buy that game if it came out for us!
Attention fanboys : Shut up! No matter what exclusives games you have, both the PS3 and 360 are going to be very successful. Take for example, if Halo 3 comes to the PS3, only already PS3 owners are going to benefit from this. By now, if you’re deciding what system to buy and like Halo, you’re probably already going to have a 360. Same goes to all exclusive games out there. They only thing that will change people’s minds, probably is if a PS3 exclusive comes to a 360, and that will just be people who have a slight budget problem, with a slight price difference in the consoles. I do have problem with the Microsoft team as they’re probably going to try some Nintendo-coping scam to get into the casual gamers, or maybe surprise us and come up with something unique (which is something Microsoft isn’t known for doing). I hope for some surprises at E3and some nice gameplay videos from : Killzone 2, Resistance 2, Halo Wars, Fable 2, Too Human, Call of Duty 5, and a unique game called Prototype. I own all consoles (360, PS3, Wii) and a very high-powered PC (finally got a computer that can play Crysis on full graphics and 1280 by 1024). Also looking for any surprise announcements and confirmations.
k,to settle all this fuss between systems,ps3 and xbox 360 are both good systems.all though i own a ps3 myself and i prefer a ps3,doesn’t mean that the 360 is crap,and sure,gears of war IS an AMAZING game and i would love it if it came out on the ps3 too.but i doubt that it will.Halo on the other hand is a pretty crappy game.PS3 has its games,and the 360 also has its games,besides,ps3 fans are or should be really happy that we are getting resistance 2,and resistance 2 is the most anticipated game of 08,also more anticipated than the 360 exclusive gears 2.Resistance 2 will be amazing,and so will gears 2,but i do know as much as ps3 fans want gears 2,the 360 fans also want resistance 2.
i have both systems. however i have to say that recently I have been buying games out on both systems for the PS3 this is purely down to the fact that LIVE is full of absolute ass holes. Better, fairer gamers by far on the PS3. Fact.

I doubt that mass effect 2 will come to ps3 mainly because bioware has said that the first game would influence the second game… wont be able to do that with ps3 since it doesnt even have the first game. Plus the first is published microsoft so a port wont happen. Gears of war DEFINITELY wont go to ps3 because its published by microsoft… but gears of war 3… we will have to wait and see. I think ninja gaiden 2 is also published by microsoft… so probably not a direct port, but more of an “add on” port like sigma.
All the other games could possibly come to xbox 360, so we will have to wait and see.
Oh and to “gears sucks”… have you ever played gears of war? Probably not because it is a good game. One of my favorites actually… you may not agree, but what about any other violent game? Theyre all the same… gore, gore, gore.
Anyways both ps3 and xbox 360 are good consoles and all fanboys can just shut up.
Apparently Bungie (The guys behind halo) have defected from microsoft so a ps3 version is quite possible. ^^

Gears 3 actually is possible, I can’t cite the source but I believe that I read somwhere that it’s only a two game deal with Epic and the Gears franchise
