Remember when VidZone was first announced at Leipzig Games Convention last year? This is a European video service that is supposed to be free, we haven’t heard anything since this announcement but recently the Official UK Playstation website has had a page added that basically describes the service.

It is safe to say that VidZone is coming and here are some details.

• It will be a free PlayStation Store download, which will add a XMB icon for the software in the [Music] section
• Custom playlist support
• Full control: Pause, rewind and fast forward to your leisure
• Music videos are streamed not downloaded and are of “superb” quality
• Wireless Remote Play support with the PSP – Watch and listen on the go

Atomic Games, the developers behind Six Days In Fallujah will continue with the game despite Konami dropping out. Peter Tamte, president of Atomic Games says:

Atomic Games] were informed on Thursday night that Konami had decided to pull out of Six Days in Fallujah.  This caught us by surprise.  Development of the game had been progressing very well and on schedule.  We would very much like the opportunity to complete the game.

They just need a new publisher willing to publish the game.

For those of you that are lucky enough to have played or even have the demo of Final Fantasy XIII you will see that it runs in 1080p.

John Diamonon of Capcom has revealed Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 over on the PSBlog. Wait, there’s more, there will be a demo of the game released on the 30th of April 2009 which is this Thursday and will be exclusive to the Playstation Network.

inFamous looks to be a promising title and is exclusive to the Playstation 3. The game will be released in the UK on the 29th of May 2009. The game has been developed by Sucker Punch and looks a bit like Prototype/GTA.

Konami have announced that they don’t want to publish Six Days in Fallujah because of the reaction from the gaming industry. The game basically retells the story of a battle between U.S. forces and insurgents as they fought in the Iraqi town of Fallouja in November 2004.

After seeing the reaction to the videogame in the United States and hearing opinions sent through phone calls and e-mail, we decided several days ago not to sell it. We had intended to convey the reality of the battles to players so that they could feel what it was like to be there.

Atomic Games will now have to look for another publisher.
