Though we missed a special/collectors edition with Killzone 2, God of War III will definitely be getting one. Now the question remains if gamers value a 80 plus euro/pound/dollar edition, which usually included an art book and a behind the scene’s disc.

But is that all we want in a special edition? For me no. Example, Fallout 3. The lunch box and bobble head made the choice for my purchase. Grand Theft Auto 4 also had it with the bag, locker box and key chain.
Such special/collector edition make it worth getting.

But what can you include in a Uncharted edition? You tell us.

According to Sony Ireland, Firmware 2.7 will be released on the 2nd of April 2009. Here’s what Sony have to say on the matter:-

With mounting speculation as to exactly when PS3 firmware version 2.70 will be released we can now reveal to you that our sources at Sony Ireland have given us a confirmation date.

April 2nd Will be the date that every Ps3 gamer will now be looking forward to.
Stay tuned for more as the official Announcement and images is made on Monday 30th March.

Who said that won’t be a Metal Gear 5? Hideo Kojima hinted at his Apple Store visit last week that the game could be announced at this years E3.

I can’t really speak specifically right now,

All I can say right now is that maybe we can do some announcement during E3.

If you missed yesterdays announcement, patch 1.21 is now live for Killzone 2.
The download shouldn’t take that long before you can enjoy your game again.

Volition let know starting as quick as April 16th you will be able to get your hands on the first downloadable content pack for Saints Row 2.

Ultor Exposed is the first of three DLC packages that will be made available for Saints Row 2.
I’ll get my brake lines cut if I reveal any details [on the other two], but rest assured that we’re hard at work building on the Saints Row 2 experience

The Ultor Exposed pack will have six new vehicles, two new maps and extra customisation options. Also expect three new missions which will be available at any time after the original prologue. Porn star Tera Patrick will be one of your homies who will cover your back in the battle against the Ultor corporation.

Also included is a new competitive co-op. You will gain points by killing gang members and blowing stuff up.

Though the 360 version will get 5 new achievements, no word yet on trophies for the PlayStation version.

Expect the price of the Ultor Exposed pack to be around GBP 7.99.

Here is a trailer of the upcoming game Stormrise that will be released very soon. Take on the role of Aiden Geary and control the conflict across the ravaged Earth.

The moment word hit that Sony would make an announcement on March 31st, people’s first thought was that it would be a price cut for the PlayStation 3. But now for the 5th or 6th time Sony has come out and dismissed these rumours.

As we have stated previously, we do not have plans for a PS3 price drop, and any rumors to that effect are false and are the result of speculation. Dante’s Inferno has been given a release date by Electronic Arts. The game is scheduled to be released at some point in 2010.

The feature-length project will expand on the story in EA’s new, must-have game coming out for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system and PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system in 2010,

Just Add Water, a UK development studio have confirmed that they are going to announce ‘Project V’ at E3. It is a first part Sony Computer Entertainment Europe title.

Nothing has been said about the game in question, we don’t know the genre, no one knows nothing until E3.

So i guess we will all have to wait, be sure to check back soon.

A new Killzone 2 patch will be released on the 31st of March 2009, confirmed by Guerilla Games. Check out the description below to find out what will be fixed and/or added.

• Increase of the standard points settings for Bodycount.  Should ensure longer mode on heavily populated games.
• The return of Online Bots.  Adding bots to an online game renders it ‘unranked’.
• The option to create unranked games.  Players will be made aware that a game is unranked upon joining.
• Fix to Game Search functionality so correct maps are displayed.
• Standardization of the Y-Axis controls on the HGH Scout when zoomed with the Sniper Rifle.
• Fix to Sensitivity setting where the weapon animation did not follow the reticule correctly.
• Fix for auto-aim exploit when rapidly tapping zoom/fire.
• Fix to infrequent collision issues with C4 Proximity mines
• Fix to list of games displayed on search.
• Stability fix relating to disconnect.
