Need more textures in LBP? No problemLittleBigMadness.com has released a texture pack for the people that don’t have a Playstation Eye. You can use Playstation Eye to capture your own images and import them into the game to use.
LittleBigMadness.com has kindly put together a pack full of textures to use in your levels. You will have to play their level to get the textures. To get the textures look for the level LittleBigMadness.com Textures Pack 1.
They plan to do this on a regular basis. The first pack contains 10 stickers to create walls.

Possible PSN integration into Playstation Blog
With this very subtle hint Jeff Rubenstein let a reader know that he didn’t have to worry about getting avatar up on his blog profile.
This sounds like a possible integration of your PSN account with the Playstation Blog. This would be great. It would not require separate accounts anymore.
What more do we want to see if this is true. Well first to ability to add a person straight from there (the blog) to your friendlist or even better ignore list. Checking out a persons profile would also fit in there.

Skate 2 release date early 2009Electronic Arts and Black Box have announced that Skate 2, arch rival to the Tony Hawks Pro Skater series will be released early 2009. The game will be released in North America on the 21st of January 2009 and then everywhere else on the 23rd of January 2009.

Killzone 2 beta ends this SundayJust to let all the people that are playing the Killzone 2 beta, it is due to end this Sunday. Guerrilla can use this valuable time to iron out more bugs and tweak the game.
No word on a playable demo though. Hopefully we will see one sometime before the game is released.

Resident Evil 5 demo coming to Japan next monthGet those Japanese Playstation Store accounts ready as there will be a Resident Evil 5 demo released next month on the Japanese Playstation Store. The demo will include co-op.
The exact date of release is the 5th of December.

Advertisement on the way for LittleBigPlanetLets be honest, LittleBigPlanet has been lacking performance in the sales department and i’m sure Sony weren’t looking for this.
Speaking to GamesIndustry.biz, David Wilson, Sony’s head of U.K. PR, explains that Sony are extremely happy with both how LittleBigPlanet has been received critically and by the buying public.
If you bought this game on day one, you’d play your 50 plus levels on the Blu-ray and dip into the 12,000 levels created by the beta testers. If you bought the game one week later you’ve got over 84,000 user created levels to play with. This game gets better and better as an experience and as a value proposition.
The bulk of our marketing including our six figure TV advertising campaign doesn’t roll out until December,” he states, assuring those of us who believe the game has been a tad short-changed in terms of public exposure that “Sackboy hasn’t even hit his stride yet.
A six figure advertising campaign? Sounds good to me! Surely this will push some sales, especially towards Xmas.
Tomb Raider Underworld was released not so long ago and the sales are currently leading on the Playstation 3. 51 percent of all units sold in it’s first week of release was on the PS3. The Xbox 360 accounted for 34 per cent of sales with the remaining sales made up of Wii, PC and DS SKUs.
What about the exclusive content that is believed to be in the 360 version? Maybe they should release some content for the PS3 version too.

UK won’t be getting SFII HD this weekNews has it that Super Super Street Fighter II HD Remix will not be released in the UK in this weeks Playstation Store update. Capcom confirmed this to CVG. The game will be released in America, UK owners will have to wait a little longer for the game.
Capcom couldn’t give CVG a date for the UK, but did confirm that it’s “definitely not this week”.
If you purchase a lot of Sony and Playstation products it might be a good idea to get yourself a Playstation Credit Card. If you get a Playstation credit card now you could save $150 on the purchase of a Playstation 3 this holiday season. here are a couple ways to do this. You can go to to www.sony.com/newpscard to get instant approval for your card, and an immediate $150 credit when you purchase a PS3 directly through the website.
Or you can go www.sony.com/getpscard to apply for the card and upon receipt of the card, use it at any authorized PlayStation retailer to purchase a PS3. The $150 credit will show up on your billing statement.
