Dead Space comes with two demosIf you bought Dead Space you will see that you have a couple of extras. These extras are indeed two demos you can access via the XMB. You get the games icon and then another icon called EA Demos.
The two demos are Battlefield: Bad Company and Burnout: Paradise. You can install the demos off the Blu-ray disc onto your hard drive so you don’t have to have the Dead Space disc in to play them.

IGN has reviewed BioShock on the Playstation 3, most likely the final build of the game. When the demo came out a couple of weeks ago a lot of waiters like us were left upset because of the quality of the graphics.
According to the IGN review these seem to have been fixed.
If you never experienced the halls of Rapture and have been waiting for its appearance on the PS3, there really is no discussion to be had. Go out and get your hands on BioShock — you will thoroughly enjoy exploring the incredible story and the excellent action that the game is known for. However, if you’ve played the game before, or are expecting this to be the definitive version, that’s not fully found here. Sure, the full trophy support and Survivor mode are great, and the Challenge Rooms could add a ton to the replayability (whenever it’s implemented). However, old glitches that should’ve been fixed in the PS3 development hold this version back from being completely realized.
Graphics
A mix of old and new textures, combined with old glitches and slowdown that should’ve been fixed in a year’s worth of extra development holds this game back slightly.
Doesnt really mention anything bad about the quality of the graphics. Read the full review.

Socom Confrontation Trophies Patch ComingWhen people were beginning to play Socom Confrontation they realized that trophies aren’t even in the game yet. Unfortunately the trophy system wasn’t even built in the game for launch. Luckily some news came from the PlayStation Blog crew and contacted Slant Six about it.
We’ve noticed a couple of comments today on the blog from gamers who purchased SOCOM Confrontation; you’ve been asking “Where are the trophies?”
Well, I just wrapped up a conversation with the SOCOM team, where they’ve confirmed the fact that trophies *will* be coming, via a patch, within the next couple of weeks.
So expect the patch to come in the next few weeks. Hopefully the Trophies will be retroactive, so people who log countless hours into the game doesn’t get the same disappointment as when Burnout Paradise received trophies.

BioShock PS3 improvementsSo, BioShock got slated after 2KGames released a demo for the game a couple of weeks ago. It looks like 2K are back hard at work trying to make the PS3 version the better version. Jake Etgeton a 2K Marin programmer reveals that the PS3 version of BioShock will feature new interactive load screens and graphical improvements.
There are improvements, such as interactive load screens which takes advantage of the increased space on the Blu-ray disc,
The downloadable Challenge Rooms also offer a slew of new graphical and gameplay content, albeit outside of the fictional universe.
Etgeton reveals that the game will install to the PS3’s hard drive taking up 5GB and will only take 10 minutes.
BioShock PS3 uses a standard one-time 5 GB install. It only takes 10 minutes, and there’s even a fancy movie accompanied by Bing Crosby’s ‘You’re Getting to Be a Habit with Me’ to help pass the time if you’re not off making a tasty, preparatory sandwich.
I guess we will have to wait for the reviews to roll in. Our guess is that the graphics will be slightly improved over the demo counter part.
