A rather interesting watch, these guys say that Grand Theft Auto V could be exclusive to the Playstation 3 in an attempt to strike back at Microsoft for having GTAIV DLC.

Just to let you all know that as of 1.00am GMT the Grand Theft Auto IV trophy patch went live. The update file weighs in at around 20mb so it’s not too much of a big download.

You will however, have to play through the game from the beginning to earn the trophies.

Just a quick heads up about the Grand Theft Auto IV trophies. The Grand Theft Auto IV trophy patch will be released on the 27th of October 2008 which is like a few days away! If you are on Rockstar’s mailing list you should have been notified about this announcement.

You will have to start the game again to earn the trophies.

If your looking for gore in a video and love to play the Call of Duty games then you won’t be dissapointed with Call of Duty World at War. Noah Heller, Senior Producer of Call of Duty World at War told OXM that World at War is the goriest yet in the series.

There are scenes that just weren’t appropriate at the end of the day,” “We felt, okay, this was across the line now. The earliest scene that raised so much discussion was the very beginning of the game. You get your throat slit or if you don’t get your throat slit, your team-mate gets his throat slit. So we said you know what, let’s make a line in the sand. This needs to be a different kind of war game.

As I was just visiting the Home beta site: http://www.homebetatrial.com/ . I ended up on the ‘new’ EU Playstation forum board dedicated to Home.

Does this mean the release of the open beta for Home is near (duh)? Or is Sony just tidying up the EU forum and ‘dead’ sites. We don’t know. But we’ll see. Last time I checked (a few days ago) the original link was still active.

The Playstation 3 version of Far Cry is believed to run at full 1080p whereas the Xbox 360 version runs at 720p. Quaz51, the person from the Beyond3D forum who found out the native resolutions of GTA4 and Halo 3 has confirmed the native resolutions for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Far Cry 2. PS3 version of Far Cry 2 is running at 960*1080p as opposed to 1280*720p on X360.

I’m think I’m measuring 960×1080, which indicates this might be the PS3 version running at 960×1080 in 1080p mode.

Either way, both version will look identical.

A few more details on PS3 exclusive RPG Final Fantasy Versus XIII have been confirmed.

The full names of both Noctis and Stella have been confirmed to be “Noctis Lucis Caelum”(meaning Light Night Sky), and Stella Nox Fleuret (meaning Star, darkness, latin). During the trailer shown at TGS, a scene in show in which Noctis and Stella discuss a special ability they both posess. This ability is to be able to “see light”. It’s not entirely clear what that’s meant to mean at the moment, but Noctis tries to keep quite about it as Stella speaks of it openly, even asking how he aquired the ability.
