E3 has been and gone. A lot of Playstation 3 owners think that Sony still has games up its sleeve and don’t want to let us know what they are.

Diggingtheweb.com has come up with a great article of identifying those exclusives or at least generating ideas of what we could see in the coming events.

The ones are find interesting are:

SCE London Studio – You are looking at Sony’s biggest internal development studio with 250+ employees sitting in air conditioned 7 story building for the past 3 years. The only thing they have released was SingStar which is a low-budget, non-program intensive game (It’s still a good game), but can you imagine 250 dudes sitting in a building for 3 years trying to make something but hasn’t produced any results? With Get Away and Eight Days canned, this team must be doing something that they are not telling us.

Hideo Kojima’s next project – will it be multiplatform? Will the success of MGS4 keep Hideo faithful to the PS3 in its darkest hours? We’ll find out.

Team Ico – Ok, we know it’s coming, but we have yet to see anything other than that one full page Famitsu ad and some funky high def screenshot of a dungeon looking stage. More detail in TGS please!!

SCE Studio Cambridge – Acquired in 1997, the last game the maker of MediEvil released was licensed property of 24: The Game for the PS2 in March of 2006. It’s been a while since we heard anything from a team of 90 employees. What is up guys? Where are my games?

The Playstation 3 version of Namco Bandai’s fighting em up, Soul Calibur 4 doesn’t support trophies. It has an in-game achievement system called required honor. Basically when you unlock something, it will pop up on the screen notifying you that you’ve unlocked what you’ve just achieved. To view the achievement you need to head over to the meseum at the battle records.

Also, there is no support for custom in-game music.

For all those skateboarding fans and Skate 2 fans here’s the first details on EA Sport’s upcoming game. The following is taken from EGM’s September issue.

  • Takes place five years after the original game, after the city’s been hit by an unknown disaster and had to be rebuilt.
  • Includes an option to play as a female character.
  • This time around with a character editor, inspired by the one featured in the Tiger Woods series.
  • With an ability to jump off the skateboard and move away any objects that might be in your way, thus opening further roads and trails.
  • The frightened passersby jumping out of your way as you ride.
  • Teleporting yourself to a previously marked location without the troublesome loading times.
  • Renewed camera including another third-person perspective.
  • Will make use of EA’s own web for uploading home-made videos.
  • Supposed to run at full 60 frames per second.

The Playstation 3 version of Soul Calibur 4 doesn’t have a rumble option for the DualShock 3 controller. A TalkPlaystation.com member has sent in an email to say that he got the game early (breaking the street date) and simply told us that he looked in every possible menu when he realised there is no rumble in the game. Apparently an update was released on Friday and that didn’t add rumble support either.

Lets hope Namco Bandai will add rumble support in a future update or something.

As you know, the Playstation 3 version of Alone in the Dark has been delayed. The horror title has been delayed until November 2008. Translated from xgn.nl:

Today, Atari announced that the PlayStation 3 version of Alone in the Dark until november this year will be in stores.

Although the game even earlier on October 31 this year would appear, was announced today by Atari that the game until november will be placed in stores. A specific date is unfortunately not yet.

This means that the game nearly five months later than the Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, PlayStation 2 and PC versions will appear. Perhaps the first Atari wants many mistakes that we still aantroffen in the Xbox 360 version to remove, for a perfect game for PS3 owners to put on the shelves.

These may also be that the extra content that was already announced in april, yet standard in the PS3 version will sit down and at this time still must be tested and expanded.

We will come back around november. Until that time, you can visit our gamepagina or imagery as videos and screenshots of Alone in the Dark. In doing so interested on our Xbox 360 review can read or view.

Could the PS3 version be treated with extra content?
