Super Stardust HD 4.00 Back online
The Super Stardust HD 4.00 patch is now back online as rumoured on the Playstation.Blog. 4.00 will allow users who didn’t get chance to download the patch before it was removed from the servers shortly after PS3 firmware 2.40. The 4.00 patch adds trophy system into the game.

Why firmware 2.40 bricked PS3’s
Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has sent ThreeSpeech the following statement regarding firnware 2.40 bricking certain Playstation 3’s.
“The PLAYSTATION®3 (PS3™) system software version 2.41 is now available for update from July 8, 2008. With this update, we have fixed the problem that prevented a limited number of PS3s from activating properly after updating to version 2.40, [...]

System software update firmware 2.41 adds new features
So the PS3 System software update firmware 2.41 added new features. The first feature is that it doesn’t brick your PS3 (or did it in the first place). Lastly, according to gamersreports.com, added a new 4th tab to show the last game you played.

Echochrome, the mind numbing puzzle game, already out in America was meant to be released in Europe as part of last weeks Playstation Store update. Did it make it? No.
