The massive rumor that hit the internet regarding Resident Evil 5 timed exclusivity has been debunked by the developers themselves. According to GayGamer Capcom have said:
“The assertion is false. RE5 is a multiplatform release that fits with our oft-stated crossplatform strategy. … For the avoidance of doubt… simultaneous release.”
So rest assured, you don’t have to worry anymore because Capcom have debunked the rumor and we are in safe hands.

Metal Gear Solid 5 could be a prequel rather than a sequel. With recent discussions regarding MGS5, here, here, here, and here.
Speaking with 1UP, Ryan Payton assistant producer of MGS4 said “still a lot of room for filling in the gaps as far as Big Boss is concerned.”
“There are some misunderstandings that this is the final Metal Gear game. But it’s really the final chapter of the Solid Snake story. That’s all.”
Payton being questioned with the possibility of Solid Snake in Metal Gear Solid 5, he responded with this:
“because it gets to the point where if we continue on with Metal Gear Solid 5 with more Solid Snake adventures, we’ll get to the point where the game has absolutely no basis in reality. I do like the idea that this character has had four or five big missions and then that’s when it ended, rather than have 20 missions where there’s no chance in hell a secret agent could ever survive. He’s had four or five really big missions, and that seems a little more realistic to me.”
Maybe they will introduce some new characters or it could well be a sequel with Solid Snake – thats not carrying on the adventures, thats telling the story of what happened in the past. Who knows.
Here are 13 new screenshots of upcoming World War II shooter, Call of Duty 5: World at War. Developed by Treyarch and pubished by Activision the game is due to be released towards the end of the year, most likely around xmas time.
Brothers in Arms: Hell’s Highway is the third in the series and is developed Gearbox Software and published Ubisoft. The World War II squad based game is due to be released on the 26th of August 2008. Check out this gameplay footage of the game, it sure looks good.

Below is a video of Battlefield: Bad Company that takes another shot at a game. First we saw them take the rip out of Metal Gear Solid and now they are hitting on the Gears of War advert, the Bad World one. This is fantastic marketing… but will it be effective when the game is released in a few days.
The president of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, David Reeves believes that the Playstation 3 will pass Playstation 2’s install base of 100million plus. He said that the PS3 is currently growing faster than what the PS2’s was growing at, at this point in its lifecycle.
“The PS3 install base is growing faster than PS2’s was at this point in its lifecycle,” said Reeves, adding that in time he expects the PS3 to eventually outsell the PS2’s 100m installed base.
“We see the future in the video games industry, certainly in terms of software sales, as continuing to grow – new markets, new demographics, and new games appealing to new sectors of the industry,”
So if the growing rate of the PS3 is faster than PS2’s, looks like things can only get better. More PS3 owners = more exclusive games.

Sonic Unleashed Europe TrailerWow, how good does this game look. Sonic is back and he’s going to unleash some power. Check out this trailer. The only thing is it putting me off from Sonic Unleashed is that the gameplay seems a little too fast but it looks kinda easy to play.
Sonic Unleashed will be released late 2008.

Check this video of Metal Gear Solid 4. It shows what they call an ‘emotional gun’ in action. You can select an ‘emotion’ bullet for the gun, when you shoot an enemy with that emotion selected, the enemy will do what that emotion is. For example if you want the enemy to cry, simply select the ‘cry’ emotion bullet for the gun and fire away and watch them cry. Gotta love the laugh emotion.
