Jenova in Final Fantasy XIII?The latest rumors regarding Final Fantasy XIII is that Jenova could return. According to finalfantasyseries.net they think this image could indicate the return.
Looks very similar to this shot from Final Fantasy VII.
“So far some Final Fantasy fans rubbish the claims saying its “too big” a link between VII and XIII. And in their own words; “that’s if its not a super secret remake of Final Fantasy VII”, which is even more outrageous. Isn’t it?..”
Our opinion is that its just another lifeform and has no link what so ever to Final Fantasy VII.

Playstation Edge news is FakeOk so it got us, we should have been more careful. The news we posted before regarding something called Playstation Edge is fake.
We first saw the news over at Neogaf and Videogaming247.com and decided to post about it. Our friends over at TheSixthAxis have pointed it out that this particular news/fake press release isn’t real.
If you head over to this thread at Neogaf, alot of people are reporting that it is fake. If you see this fake news anywhere else report it, informing them that its not real.
Playstation Edge is a development toolkit.
“a set of cutting edge technologies for imminent release to all PlayStation 3 developers”
“A unique tool for RSX performance analysis”
We initially thought it was pretty dodgy coming from a Neogaf post rather than an actual press release site.

The first details of Sony’s upcoming MMO have emerged. This months issue of Edge Magazine see’s executive creative director Jim Lee speak about th game that is in development by Sony Online Entertainment.
“kick-ass hybrid between a traditional MMO and a first-person action console game”.
You will be able to create your own superhero or villain, along with that you’ll be able to choose your characters particular powers. You can decide whether to attack using different elements such as ice, fire and move around using acrobatics or the power of flight. You’ll be levelling up your characters as seen in traditional RPG’s and you will develop your powers as you progress.
“Although you don’t get to “be” any of the famous DC characters, you do get to interact with them. That might mean you end up saving Superman from being stabbed with a shard of kryptonite by Lex Luthor. Or, if you’re a villain, you could cause carnage by chucking cars around downtown Metropolis, thereby encouraging the boy in blue to turn up and fight you.”
Metropolis is one of two large shared enviroments and the other is Gotham City. DC Universe will be comprised of a mix of these enviroments.
You will be able to make use of your powers at the PvP arenas. A good example is someone might freeze your character in a block of ice and then pick up the block and throw it at another player.
Lee said:
“We can tie-in future DC tentpole events and translate the stories for the gaming world, and have them occur simultaneously,”
“The possibilities are numerous and very exciting.”
No release date has been stated yet but we’re guessing a late 2009 release.

Sony announced that in the latest 2.4 firmware update would launch the new Man’s Best Friend, Friend’s list or the MBFF initiative.
Angie Shennandough, Sony spokesperson explains what exactly the MBFF is.
“While adding additional support for 50 more friends to interact with on PSN, we thought, what about about Man’s Best Friend? My circus show poodle, sparkles, is my friend. Why couldn’t we allow pets onto PSN, ya know? What about my REAL best friend? The one that I feed, take for walks and play with everyday? Well, we’re changing all of that. From now on, you’ll have an additional 50 slots to add pets!”
Why pets?
“Well, pets are our friends and we want to know what they’re doing at all times, just like our PSN friends, right?”
