On the back of the Haze box there is a big sign that says something like this:

“FREE DOWNLOADABLE CONTENT”

Does this mean that Haze could see new maps or even chapters in the future? The best part of this is the word FREE so does that mean we won’t have to pay for the content thats added what ever that content maybe?

This is for the PAL version of the game, there are reports saying that the NTSC version doesn’t contain this.

The first details of EA Sports upcoming football game have arrived from a US mag called Gamepro. “Considerable gameplay improvements” are to be seen in the next instalment of Fifa. Gameplay improvements such as “increased responsiveness from passing, dribbling and the physical pushing and shoving that occurs in a game.”

Fifa 09 is apparently to improve in the animations area to make the game feel more realistic and faster than the previous Fifa games.

“the ball-handler can adjust themselves from falling during a slide tackle “if their non weight-bearing leg is tackled”, and goalkeepers can reach behind their bodies if they misjudge a shot on goal.”

“Team Captains may also cry like babies when a crucial cup penalty is royally scuffed – It all sounds so much more realistic.”

Gamingbit have posted a video in which it illustrates the visual differences from 08 to 09. You can see how Madden has changed over a course of a year. The video evaluates the following;

Kotaku have posted more details regarding BioShock coming to the Playstation 3. Once an Xbox 360 exclusive, not anymore. Not only an announcement from PSM3 magazine but also in EGM. Also BioShock on the Playstation 3 is meant to be ‘better’ than the 360 version with upgraded visuals and will already include the downloadable content seen in the 360 version. Not only that but the PS3 version will see PS3 specific features that “extend and augment the game.”

Here are 3 new screenshots of Ubisoft’s attempt at an air combat game. Take a look at the Tom Clancy’s Hawx preview we posted a while back.

Haze is released today in the UK and here is the launch trailer for the nectar shooter. Haze has had mixed reviews from differen’t websites and overall the game is pretty good, its not bad. Take a look at our thoughts of the Haze demo and a look at some gameplay video.

A new gameplay trailer of Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 was released not long ago, check it out. Below are 6 high resolution screenshots of Electronic Art’s upcoming real time strategy and the game is looking good. This is EA’s first entry into the Red Alert series after giving us C&C Generals and C&C Tiberium Wars. Red Alert 3 will probably be out early next year but EA haven’t announced anything yet.

Far Cry was a great game with great draw distance. Not only that but the actual game had a good story with great gameplay aspects. Far Cry 2 should be released quarter 3 2008 and promises to feature rich graphics and exciting gameplay. Developed and published by Ubisoft.

Resident Evil 5 could be released sometime towards the end of this year. If you take a look at Capcom’s latest financial report and turn to page 14 you will see that ‘Resident Evil 5′ is listed for year 2008. So what does this tell us? That RE5 could be release this year? I hope so!

If it’s fiscal year then it could float into early 2008 because FY-08 ends March 31st 2009, that sound more realistic.

I’m guessing a Feb 09 release.

After recent rumors regarding whether BioShock will come to the Playstation 3(look here) its apparent that those rumors are indeed true.

The next issue of UK PlayStation mag PSM3 is to feature a massive preview on the PS3 version of BioShock on the PS3 including screenshots of the game running on the PS3. The issue will be on sale June the 5th.

The staff over at CVG called Take-2 regarding this and they just gave a usual ‘no comment’ reply. BioShock will appear on the Playstation 3 thats for sure.

There is another magazine shouting about BioShock on the PS3 in its upcoming release. Can you see the pattern?

Kotaku are reporting that Metal Gear creater Hideo Kojima is already thinking about Metal Gear Solid 5. Metal Gear Solid 4 isn’t even out yet and he’s already thinking about MGS5? I thought MGS4 was his last?

This is what Kojima told famitsu:

“I gotta start thinking about MGS5… Even though, well, Snake’s story ends in MGS4.

…About MGS5, that would be something that Kojima Productions would have to make, I think.”

So if MGS4 is a massive hit what’s gonna make him say no to MGS5?
