6 new Far Cry 2 screenshotsubisoft have released 6 new screenshots of their stunning looking first person shooter Far Cry 2. These screenshots are released as part of its annual Ubidays media event and the open-ended shooter looks fantastic.

Postal 3 might make its way to the Playstation 3 according to the developers. When developers Running With Scissors released their press release they stated this:
“We are seriously considering PlayStation 3,”
Not only that but when SCRAWL contacted Running With Scissors regarding the PS3 version the developer replied with this:
“We are now in the early stage of designing POSTAL III for the PS3. Every developer has their own approach, so while we started first on the Xbox 360, we are now committing to the PS3 as well, and hopefully who knows maybe even the Wii.”
That above statement pretty much confirms it to be honest. So we will see Postal 3 on the Playstation 3.

Army of Two map pack delayedWe posted a video of the new Army of Two maps yesterday and information regarding it being released on the 29th of May 2008. Well now the map pack has been delayed. EA informed IGN yesterday that the map pack has been delayed in North America but will still be available in Europe on the 29th of May.

A user on the metalgearsolid.org forusm have posted 2 pictures of the box for Metal Gear Solid 4 and kinda confirms that MGS4 will be ran in full 1080p.
If you look at the back of the box you can clearly see that it says 1080p at the end of the ’supported HD video output’ options.

Reports are saying that a Stranglehold sequel could be on its way. Stranglehold was the first game to use the Unreal Engine 3 for the Playstation 3. When asked if a sequel would be made, Brian Eddy the executive producer replied with this:
“All I can say is, there could absolutely be a possibility of that.”
So for all you Stranglehold fans out there, there could be a Stranglehold sequel on in the works.
Square Enix’s Playstation Portable RPG master piece has reached sales of more than 1,250,000. Confirmed by Square Enix in their annual financial report. Around 800,000 Japanese copies and around 450,000 copies have been sold since it’s release back on the 13th of September and 24th of March respectively. Europe will have to wait until the 20th of June for the release and surely that will add more numbers to the report.
This is great news for Square Enix and there is no reason why they shouldn’t make a Final Fantasy VII remake for the Playstation 3 because it would diffinitely make them a ton of money.
A Resident Evil 5 trailer will make way to us according to Gametrailers.com. You can see some action of the game in their GameTrailers TV GTTV With Geoff Keighley Episode 114 Promo.

EGM have reported a number of rumors saying that Bioshock will be heading to the Playstation 3. We now have official details straight from the EGM July 2008 issue.
Here’s what EGM have to say about BioShock, the Playstation 3 version.
“- The graphics are the same as the Xbox 360 version of the game, although they may possibly notch it up a bit but it is still unknown.- The game will feature the Plasmid and fixes given to the Xbox 360 version via downloadable content right out of the box.
- The development team does admit that they are working with Sony to potentially “extend and augment the game” but it is too early to talk about it.
- The development team says “whatever we end up with via our discussions with Sony, coupled with the fact that BioShock allows you to go through and roll your own shooter in the first place…these two factors together would turn into a motive for replay.” That being if you already had the Xbox 360 version of the game.
- The rest is them talking about the actual game and story and big developers like Ted Price from Insomniac Games weigh in on the title.”
Amazon have a release date for Capcom’s upcoming survival horror game Resident Evil 5. Amazon think the game will be released on March the 10th 2009. Recent rumors predicted that Resident Evil 5 would make it before the end of 2008 but that was pretty much very unlikely as there hasn’t been much coverage.
“This item will be released on March 10, 2009.”
