Because the game is being developed by Treyarch, they don’t feel that WWII games are done yet.
What im seeing our a few new features in these screen shots alone, So i see swords and climbing trees..is that a feature in the game that you will be able to do at any time? I also notice that even though rumors speculate its a WW11 game, im seeing more vietnamese style lands, is it a vietnam setting or WW11? I also have questions about the online aspects, such as levels, guns, what we can expect and not expect, if anyone can help, email me at Suoiciv_Death@Yagoo.com. Thank you

The game is set in World War II during the Japanese Pacific Theater.
Still waiting for a Civil War game. I think that when they do WW1 or the Civil war, that will be the day when Call of Duty’s rep will be set in stone. It would open the door to all kinds of gamers and non gamers new to games.

Looks great…Hope Treyarch can successfully emulate Infinity Wards success with this title. I kind of wanted them to do vietnam or the Korean war…since the’ve covered the WW’s pretty thourough. 1,2,3 and we’re going back again? I guess they really want us to not think about any other wars. Maybe EA or Novalogic can capitalize on these other open markets for stories to be told.
